Foundation Stone of Samshan Ghat Shed for Funeral Visitors Laid at Falakata Today

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 15th April, 2017: The MLA of Falakata Assembly Constituency Mr. Anil Adhikary today laid the foundation of a shed at Falakata Samshan Ghat for the funeral associates on the banks of River Sanjay near the Ganga Devi Ghat for Asthami Bath. The project is sanctioned under the ‘Baitarini Scheme’ of Government of West Bengal and MLA fund for development. During the foundation stone laying other dignitaries present were Alipurduar 1 No Gram Panchayat Chairman Mr. Manoranjan Dey, Vice Chairman Mr. Lakshmi Rava and other local dignified persons. An estimated expense for this work is around Rs. 9 lakh as informed by the MLA Mr. Anil Adhikary. The residents of Falakata, as well as the nearby areas of the Samshan Ghat, are visibly happy with their body language.
